The Board of Directors of WEST ISLIP REMEMBERS wishes to express gratitude
to all those in the local community who contributed through our organization
to West Islip families touched by the September 11th tragedy.

WEST ISLIP REMEMBERS is a not-for-profit-corporation established by individuals
living or working in West Islip to raise funds to assist local victims
of the September 11th tragedy and to establish an appropriate remembrance
of this event that has so impacted our community. Every cent of the money
we received went toward this goal, and we distributed over $50,000 to families
in West Islip who lost a wage-earner to this tragic event. We are very proud
of West Islip’s response to this crisis: since the attack, more than 60 local businesses
and 140 individuals have contributed generously to the fund.
